You can collect and improve ship parts by collecting fragments from boss fights or through redeeming advanced or elite ship tokens in their respective booster menu. 

There are 3 kinds of ship parts (Cockpit, Wings & Jets) that come in 4 rarities, each: Common, Advanced, Rare & Elite.
